Ashleah has a passion for vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. She has earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree from Western University followed by 4 years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and graduated in 2008. She has been working for 11 years through which she has developed a special interest in vestibular and concussion therapy.
Ashleah uses a combination of soft-tissue and mobilisation techniques, education, self-management strategies, sensory rehabilitation and exercise protocols in her daily practice. She is also experienced in spinal manipulations and uses these skilled techniques only when assessed to be needed / beneficial to the client’s rehabilitation and only when reflected in evidence-based practice.
On your initial visit, you can expect a thorough comprehensive evaluation based on your history and evidence-based testing. During the assessment, evaluations will be explained to you and the results of the assessment will be discussed along with recommended treatments. There will be time to ask your questions throughout the appointment. Subsequent appointments are determined based on each client’s needs, goals, and response to treatment. Ashleah believes that you should play an active role in your rehabilitation and emphasizes self-management strategies.
