Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Monic is a bilingual (French-English) Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with a variety of populations.
Monic has treated children of all ages presenting with developmental delays, acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, articulation delays, hearing impairment, childhood apraxia of speech and feeding difficulties. Her extensive post graduate training in a variety of methods and approaches coupled with her experience allows her to tailor intervention to meet each individual’s specific needs. Family involvement is encouraged throughout the assessment process as well as the intervention period to ensure the achievement of functional communication in the home and/or school environment.
Monic also is a certified LSVT Loud certified clinician - a form of speech therapy for Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions. Monic is able to help with improving vocal loudness, improving speech intelligibility, and increasing facial expression.
