Clinical Mentoring

Clinical mentorship is often an essential and important aspect in healthcare professional training. Clinical mentorship can facilitate the professional growth and development of a physiotherapist while also providing clients with access to the best practice approaches to treatment of their complex neurological conditions. Clinical mentorship also allows physiotherapists with access to learn and practice new skills with support and guidance of a more experienced physiotherapist with expertise in neurological rehabilitation.

A clinical mentor can help provide the following:

  • Consultation on cases from standard to complex and may include comorbidities

  • Providing specific training on neurological rehabilitation based on the individual's or the condition's issues and difficulties

  • Enhancing and encouraging high level problem solving and decision-making skills

We offer different types of consultation services and can tailor them to fit your needs.  These include in-clinic and virtual options depending on location and needs.  Please contact Marie-Celine Alexander, PT (mc. alexander@lifemark.ca) for further information.
