Victoria brings over 20 years of experience as a Bobath and NDT-based neuro-physiotherapist to her practice. Recently, she has focused on developing her expertise in the treatment of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Her background includes a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis, cultivated during her four years at the Vancouver MS Clinic, where she honed her skills in managing this complex condition. Additionally, Victoria’s areas of expertise include vestibular rehabilitation, particularly in addressing vertigo and dizziness, as well as acquired brain injury and stroke rehabilitation.
To enhance her practice further, she has completed advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and concussion care. Victoria volunteers her time as a consultant for the MS Can Do program, where she supports individuals with Multiple Sclerosis in their journey toward improved health.
Her experience as a Yoga Instructor complements her physiotherapy work, allowing her to offer tailored 1:1 therapeutic yoga sessions designed to help individuals manage pain and improve their physical function. Victoria leads an adapted yoga class in the Ottawa area, specifically aimed at guiding people with disabilities through the practice of yoga.
